Very attractive piece. Well done.

I had never heard of kosso before your posting.

The wood looks beautiful and you put it to very good use on that stunning Maloof rocker.

Thanks for posing.

I had to google Kosso lumber because your chair looked a lot like walnut.
Back to the chair – Beautiful and maybe one of the most expensive lumbered chairs I’ve ever seen

Beautiful chair! Any Maloof rocker is a significant accomplishment – add to that some stunning lumber and you have a first class piece.

I’m in love with the engineering of the Maloof Joint far more than I am with the aesthetics of the Maloof Joint; you however executed it beautifully. Sometimes when you see a piece like this, I wonder if that’s not what the tree intended to become all along.

Outstanding work Joe and a excellent choice of lumber. I once had a very small piece of kosso and made a train whistle, didn’t know its value.

Very nice. I am about 2/3 of the way through one now so I can appreciate the work it takes. I am using Scott Morrison’s plans. It looks like you did also?
