The Abstract Clouds object was first designed in Rhino software and then carved on my CNC machine. The cherry wood is colored with oil pigment sticks.

No denying it, that’s cool as Schiff. I bet passing your hand over it is very soothing. I wonder what it’s final use will be. A trivet perhaps. A centerpiece. hung.. I really like it. al

Roger,
That’s a little abstract for me but I appreciate the artistry and work that went into it.

The brown one looks like a pile of Moose turds. I collected some of them once, sprayed they gold added ear ring hooks and gave them to unsuspecting women friends…..for a laugh. No, not girl friends, just friends.

Just a few comments
The piece is about 6×7 inches and 1 inch in height.
I really don’t have any specific plans for the piece. I just made it for the fun of making it. The oil pigment stick was something I never used before. I was hoping for more white on the peaks, but as you can see the blue over powered the white. Overall, I liked how it turned out.
