That is super impressive. Those dovetails are first rate. Did you use a Leigh jig?

Yes, my first time using it. I have to say it requires an advance degree to use it, but once it is setup it is great.-- By hammer in hand, all things do stand.

Very nice.
I think it might more properly be called a chest of drawers or cabinet. Amroire’s are generally much larger and intended for hanging clothes. But you made it so you get to call it what you want. LOL

You can hang clothes in the side compartments, they are 55” high. The client wanted shelving instead.

Wow, that looks terrific. In time when the cherry darkens, it will really shine.
I’ve always liked working in cherry, despite some of it’s challenges.
What did you use for drawer slides?

They just slide on the shelf below them.

Looks amazing! What finish did you use? Really makes that cherry have a beautiful depth.

It is 2 coats of Danish Oil, 3 coats of polyurethane and 3 coats of wax. Sanded and wet sanded to 600 between coats of the ploy.

Very nice. I’m a big fan of cherry and this kind of has a shaker style to it. I like it. Nice touch with the dovetails as well. I agree that the Leigh DT jig takes some attention but once it is set up it really works well.
