Another piece of “fine woodworking” produced in my Garage.
This piece has been cooking in my tiny brain for over 2 years. I finally found time to get it built. All the wood used to build this was up-cycled from what was once an entertainment center that housed a 25” tube TV.
Carcass is 3/4” plywood and the “stickers” are 1/4” plywood and it features 3 full extension drawers. To calm my OCD, as seen by the real cube sitting on top, the “mix up” is realistic and not just a randomly placed design. I was going to add 2 (lazy Susan) type turn tables so the 3 drawers could spin independently but that was going to cost $40 so I didn’t want to spend the extra money…........especially given the fact that I’m not sure what I’m going to do with this now that it’s done. All I know is that it was just one of those projects that had to be built.
Approximately a 2’x2’x2’ square with 5” legs adding to the height. Logo is a vinyl decal….....someone I know has a machine that could make it.
Thanks for looking.

-- "Fine Woodworking" is the name given to a project that takes 3 times longer than normal to finish because you used hand tools instead of power tools. ----Mike, Waukesha, WI

Great idea ”wooden”...

With 3 possible moves, even I could solve that puzzle cube.

I should have looked at this yesterday – I deprived myself of visually enjoying a really nice project. Great Job !
