Not much going on lately, so thought I’d beef up my back scratcher supply… Most the others went with Christmas…

A few variations… The eagle one came from a not so good attempt at an Eagle cane handle. Been hanging around for a while without a purpose. Gave purpose…lol…

More beauties Jack!

It’d be interesting to see the expression on the face of someone walking into your house and seeing those piled up on the table 8^)

The bird beak is a great idea, borrow from nature and emulate what she does to fix an itch!

Man, those look really good! I mean, I’m feeling an itch now, so you must be onto something good! Great work, brother!

Thanks Splint, yea, I hadn’t trimmed down the beak, so it worked out pretty well.

Thanks Van, you need one.

Nice workand great for gifts or selling at the market. I’ve been meaning to make myself one although the wooden, spaghetti picker up thingy has been working pretty good for now. :)

Jack, this is the perfect time of year for these. My back is itchy just thinking about using one of these. Beautiful work and the eagle Soars.

Those look good Jack, the layered handle turned out very nice and with a good grip.

Foghorn better not tell his wife what he is using as a back scratcher. Maybe he needs a real one.

I think I’d put the eagle scratcher over the fireplace so everyone could just look at it. Held vertically it emulates the eagles majestic pose on a high branch. The snapshot in your mind of what this looked like in nature translated perfectly to wood. Always impressed. Each one unique, hats off.
