Here’s my interpretation of Sam Maloof Inspired Rocker.

Enjoy… :)

Briefly :

—Made of Meranti Tropical Hardwood
—roughly 250 hrs into making of this rocker
—finishing with boiled linseed oil and final coating with beeswax

Sam borrowing ideas from Sam…perfectly fitting. This rocker looks amazing and I love those long rocker tails! I bet this was a rewarding project.

Very impressive- I have never heard of Miranti Tropical but it certainly looks nice. How does it work using hand tools?

Thanks for posting your project.

Great chair Sam. Is that a Sam Maloof inspired work bench in the background? Never saw one of those before. :-)
