This was a fun project. Built from scarp sapele after another project, Gramercy’s layout sheets were spot on and it was easy to template the pieces. Lots of hand shaping. I turned the handle on the lathe and finished with danish oil and paste wax. I bought their kit and blades. It all came together nicely and cuts really well! I’m excited to ad the tool to the shop.

That looks great.
I received one of those from that same friend in the tool swap. They cut great.

I’ve got one of those kits in a drawer, but haven’t yet built it.
Yours looks very nice.

Good looking saw, Ryan! Do you have a favorite among the three Gramercy blades yet? I find I use the coarsest and finest most often, and I almost never use the middle one.

Funny, but so far I like the middle blade the best. Although I’ve really just started using it. Guess we’ll have to see!
