Finished Up And Sold Another Board

This one is pretty beefy. Black Walnut, Hard Maple, Cherry and African Padauk. 19×12.75×2.25.
Did the juice groove pretty deep on this one and went a little more shallow on the handles.

Nicely done. Love the design and colors! Wish there was a way to keep the Padauk from turning brown although the brown color of Padauk is nice also. I made a chess board many years ago and framed it with Padauk. It has turned to a deep, rich brown color.

Thank you Mike. I agree about the Padauk. I’ve found the best you can do is to flank it with Maple so it will still contrast nicely when it turns.
