I made this puzzle box a while ago but forgot to take pictures. I gave it to a friend to try and solve and he brought it to someone else, so I just got it back.

To play, you slide the top off and turn it over to display the puzzle board. The instructions are on a card inside the box.

The box measures 6.5”x7.25”x3” and has a sliding top. I used several wood species although I didn’t intend to when I started. I used leather to keep the pieces from banging around and magnets to hold the logo piece and the sliding top closed.

This puzzle has to be made very accurately. As LBD found out, if the pieces aren’t exactly the right size, you can solve it more than one way.

Awesum take on the puzzle awsum. I do love your detail.

Unfortunately, as you have found out, loan it to someone and you may never get it back… the detail is too intense to just whip up another one at the spur of the moment. I’d be too tight to let it leave the house.

I like your circular “mouse”... it leads victims into believing it fits in a makeshift circle.

Some fine detailed work John! I’d call that a box with a bonus puzzle versus a puzzle box 8^)

Thanks guys, I appreciate your kind words. This is what happens when I start making something and I have no idea what the plan is.
