Friction Polish

This time I purposely went a little deep and kept a flatter bottom. I was really tempted to change it a bit and put a walnut lid on it. But I don’t have any dry walnut. So, the decision became moot.

Oh wow, how cool that would have been to have a walnut lid?! Maybe with a spalted knob handle.

Thank you.

I make it myself. (sort of) I took about 12 cut logs and placed them upright in the ground Last year around the garage. Layered the tops with Anchor Seal and let them sit over winter. About the end of March – beginning of April started cutting them into blanks.

Thank you Eric… I was pretty lucky on the timing (cutting into the logs and stopping the spalt)
