Bathroom vanity made of old house parts (joists, flooring, 2×4s etc)All white pine and doug fir. Finished in arm r seal. Matches my dining table project from early this year. Kind of a theme in my house. Rustic? Country? Farmhouse? I dont know what style to call it but its perfect for my weird old house. I got to experiment with epoxy for the first time filling some knots and cracks. Put a few bowties in the top partially to stop some cracks and partially cause I just like them. This is not its final resting place, just set aside to let it cure before installing in the bathroom. Next on the agenda is a door to match for the bathroom closet.

Nicely done. Good job on the butterflies. Did you use a router plane to mortise them in? (I didn’t see one in your shop.)

Thanks Don! I dont currently have a router plane…its on my list! I cheated and used my brace with an auger bit and then finished with a chisel.
