Cypress table

We had purchased a table and 8 chairs for the back porch, but the table was way to small to accommodate the 8 chairs. So, the wife said I had to make one that would work in it’s place. The only lumber I had on had that I thought would work was Cypress, so that is what I used. Turned out nice. We’ve used it for about 6 months now with absolutely no issues.

That’s a great looking table… I imagine much socializing!

Great looking table. I am in the middle… a very long middle… of making a cypress table myself.

Some day I hope to find myself in the situation where the “only” suitable wood I have on hand is that much cypress. ;-)

Nice work. That patio looks like a great place to socialize.
