The cane has a spar urethane finish. It is for a older lady and texturing the grip gives a more secure grip.

Hello CFrye.The crook is bent. This was an unfinished cane blank I purchased. I just buile a small steam box Ihope to bend my own.

I think that’s pretty cool having premade sticks…saves a lot of time and work…Really nice looking canes, super design for her…cool man…

This is not one but I watch for second hand canes that are in good shape strip them and redo them when I can.

I got hold of an old (looking) painted cane, took off the paint to see it was basically a bandsaw cut out of a sheet of plywood…No steam bending here…lol…I rarely see old wood canes…I do keep an eye out for them though…
