8 1/2” x 3”
Friction Polish

This one seems to be a mixture of Spalt and Ambrosia. You can see the little bug holes in this one. I chose not to fill them in. Also, this has a bit more red tint to it.

You did it again! Is all the maple bowls you putting up from the same tree?

man i just never get tired of the bowls you make from that wood.i like that your keeping the design simple,it lets the wood do the talking.

Thanks… The goal was to try to keep the same form. Even though the sizes are different. The walnut that I have… I think I’ll actually try some hollow forms???

They were intended to be gifts. But those plans may have changed now. Maybe a few gifts… my wife and son thinks I should put them up for sale.
