Project Information

just finished up 9 toaster tongs for gifts this year.these were inspired by our good friend and fellow jock jim jakosh.i loved his design so rather than reinvent the wheel i pretty much copied his design.i did mine a little different by laminating cherry and maple,a classic combo.the size is 11" long 1-1/4" wide and a little over 5/8" thick.the black spot is a rare earth magnet.i think jim cut out the rack slot with a scroll saw i was lucky enough to have a multi router which made it real simple,as in pic's 4-5.these are finished simply with my go to maloof oil.these are a great project for using up scrap wood which is what i did.

thanks for showing these jim i think people are gonna love em.

taoster oven or just a toaster, plus the other end gets used to pull or push the oven rack.

If it's wood, it's good!

Nice workmanship and contouring Pottz, love the color combo.

Also a tad bit safer than pulling out some stuck toast with a fork =8^@

Nice work as usual from you. Like the notch idea for push pull.
