Rosewood Burl veneer on Jatoba (Brazilian Cherry). Top lifts so sides can slide out. This is some of my stock reclaimed wood – was used as shipping crates.

Beautiful crafted jewelry box, that top is amazing and the way the sides slide out to reveal the lower section. Great job.

Very interesting design. Does the top hold the sides in place? Trying to figure out that aspect of the design and has me stumped. Very neat jewelry box!

The top latches the sides when closed. Note the catch under the lid. Wood was not free but was reclaimed. Thanks all !
