Top, face frame and shelf nosing are Sapele. The sides and adjustable shelves are 3/4” Maple laminated plywood for contrast and durability. The back is 1/4” Maple plywood and finish is Wipe-On Poly.

Size is 34” x 34” x 12” deep. Took about 6 BF of Sapele from our local wood store and half a sheet of 3/4” plywood. Joints are all rabbets, grooves and dados – fun to see everything slide together. Cost was roughly $120 with some usable material left over.

Nice clean design, the arch at the top adds to it.

I’ve never worked with sapele- I like the subtle color contrast with the shelves. Great looking project.

Nice work. I like the subtle arch on the top of the cabinet.
