When I got my wood shop going in 1990, I planned to make a retirement clock for all the people that worked for me in Quality Assurance. I had brass plaques made for all of them- not knowing when I’d need then. I made some clocks for those that retired and then in 2002, I go RIFFED (RIF= Reduction In Force)out when they cut the company by 6000 people. I lost touch with most of them but I ran into Patti at my last craft show and she is retired so this is her clock. The first ones were red oak, but these two are walnut( one is for the next retired employee I meet).
The vertical body 1 1/4” x 4” x 5 1/2” and is doweled and glued to the base.
They are finished with satin poly.
Cheers, Jim

Beauts Jim!
The walnut is exceptional and you went to town getting a smooth/perfect edge. True quality assurance 8^)
Great tributes!
