Always liked these knives…Usually all I ever use mine for is to cut pizza…lol…

Woodcraft was having a sale on the blanks so I bought a few…

Gave a couple away, these I still have…Later gifts…

Each handle is cut in half, recess one side to set the blade, drill holes for pins, put together…shape handle…

That ulu with the big round handle is my favorite to hold, you can really get a good grip on that shape…

Koa, for sure on one, not sure if the other is koa or cocobola, don’t know what the light colored one is, it’s softer than maple…

Guess that’s about it…

Beautiful wood. Do the blades come pre-drilled ? Or do you have to drill the pin holes for the handles ? I made a fewe but I cut my own blades with an angle grinder, drilled the pin holes, and made white tail deer antler handles. then leather belt sheaths for each. Probably won’t list them here as there is no wood on mine ! Nice job !

Kinda been waitin’ for you to post again. I’m always amazed at how so many of your pieces have an “organic flow” to their shape. Even the holders carry it over. I personally believe it shows best in your mirrors and stands but here even though the handles look symmetrical I know no pattern was used. All the cuts and shaping was done by your eye. Well made and well displayed.

Me? I like the 2 headed geoduck the best.

Thanks Jeff! When you get more tools you can make things out of those small leftover pieces…Those burl scraps I’m sure have some life left in there…Cool man…

Love the look of them. They have such a great natural look that also translates to comfortable to use.
