After seeing Fleamo’s excellent tablet stand I was inspired to post mine. Made from laminated pallet wood. You can see where I extended the back because the mark 1 version was a little tippy.

That’s perfect – nice and simple. I’ve been thinking about building a few of these for some time. How do you cut the groove?

Ezrar, I made the angle cut on top piece of wood on the table saw, sanded the cut surfaces smooth and laminated both pieces to the bottom piece of wood with the desired gap.
Once the glue dried I cut all the outside edges on the table saw and sanded the cut edges smooth on the belt sander.
