A long overdue dresser for my 6 year old daughter. Hopefully, it has enough capacity so I don’t have to listen to, “I don’t have anything to wear!”, when she’s a bit older.

Everything is [solid] Hard Maple with the exception of the drawer boxes (1/2” Maple Ply). The darker color is General Finishes Gray Gel Stain, and the lighter color is a mix of GFs gray and white gel stains. The top coat is GFs High Performance Satin, however the drawer boxes are finished with Minwax Wipe-on Poly. I had a bit of trouble deciding on the drawer pulls, but I found these at Lee Valley. In the end, she loved it which made daddy very happy.

Thanks for checking it out.

Nice piece, I like the look you’ve chosen. It looks very high end.

Think about it? Do you really want her to have to hand in her Girl card?

Great build Dad.

Beautiful Chest. The drawer pulls and the color coordination is excellent. Good job.

Well done. This shows a high level of craftsmanship. What a treasure it will be… a family heirloom.

Nice job. It looks expensive.
