My Covid lockdown project. After moving into our new condo, the boss decided we needed a wall unit in the living room. We have 10’ ceilings so that was a bit of a challenge. So, it ended up being 11’ wide x 10’ high. It’s made out of 3/4” Baltic birch, except for the 7’ shelf sides, which are cabinet grade 3/4” ply (8’x4’ BB was really expensive). First time spray painting a project. I bought a Fuji 2-stage HVLP and used General Finishes white poly primer and paint. It came out pretty well, but I still have a lot to learn about spray painting (lots of overspray). I’ll probably keep the HVLP for water-based finishes only, and use it to spray water-based poly on future wood projects.

That looks really good. Great job. Yes 10’ proposes an issue at times.

This is so nicely designed. I like the different depth and shelf placement. Looks awesome!
