I was tired of running out to my storage closet in the basement every time I need a nail or screw, so I built this simple wall cabinet with sliding doors.

I used a router to carve out all the tracks for the sliding doors and also made dadoes for the shelves. Assembled with glue and pocket screws. I hung the cabinet on the wall using a French cleat that I secured to the cinder block wall with Tapcon screws.

Nice cabinet Marie. I can see it’s a heavyweight. Looks like more than a few pounds of screws already living in it.

Great minds must think alike! My screws were always in the shop up on one of the benches. I just got tired of separating the screws from all the sawdust.
