This table is 36”x60” with live edges. The outer boards are bookmatched and we’re milled on my mill and dried in my kiln. I bought the legs from Amazon and attached to the aprons with hanger bolts. The top is finished with oil based poly. The legs and aprons will be painted white by the customer.

This is the kind of stuff for which I have no ability. I’ve yet to meet a right angle that I can’t make wrong.

I applaud your ability and the results!

Now, I can supply a table like that with a nice burl centerpiece!

Thanks everyone. I delivered the table yesterday when the customer wasn’t home. I just heard from her today that the table is “stunning” so that’s good.

Beautifully done. Nice to have a happy customer.

Interested in your kiln. I have thought about how the ability to dry (as well as deal with any bugs) would be helpful.

Thanks guys.

BB1, my kiln is a 10×16 purpose built shed. I dry wood outside to get to 20% moisture and then I move it inside. I dry it to 7% in there with fans and a dehumidifier. The dehumidifier gets the temp up to 100. Then I use a 4×10 corner of the kiln to partition off and heat up to 140° to kill bugs. The core of the wood needs to be at least 133° for 30 min to kill bugs.
