“Skeeter” is a rough out by Dale Green. He was fun to carve and paint. I changed up the face a little and painted a little different. I struggled the most with the fishing rod! It was a little challenging to get it tapered and rounded but it turned out okay. It was much easier to paint the plaid shirt! Thanks for looking!

awesome work mike,what i love about your carvings are the expressions you put on the faces.it tells the whole story.

That’s so cool! If my FiL was still alive, I would make one for him. That guy could catch fish like nobody I’ve ever seen.

Did you use tartan paint and a left handed brush?
