This is an elliptical Coffee Table with a unique design that I think I got from a Gus Modern advertisement. It is walnut, with cherry dowels and cherry “dado joints” – measures 59” x 21” x 1 1/2”.

I found it to be quite challenging, especially the leg joints that sit sit at 100º.

Thanks for the comments… and for the Top 3 selection.

There is so much to learns and so little time.

Beautifully done. I love the design. What finish did you use? That walnut looks great.

For several years, I used Livos on my products; then I was introduced to Osmo PolyX Oil. I was surprised by its ease of use. and i love its final look.

So i am now doing almost all of my tables in Osmo.

Here is one using a similar design and finish

Thanks for that added information- sure sets off that grain nicely. Really like that other smaller table as well – neat design.

Have your say...
