Box is red alder with curly malple. I cast Masonic emblem from the door knobs in our Masonic Temple.

Love the split handle and layout looks great
Good honorable place for the gavel , nice material / what did u use for the shaping of the area ?

If by area you mean where the gavel and block sit, I used some foam packing material the came as padding for something we had shipped to us (can’t remember what) it was nice so I saved it. Used a box cutter to cut out for gavel and block and covered the foam loosely with green valour. I had some thin foam that I covered with the same valour and attached inside the lid.
