It looks like you saved that wood from self-entropy, great to see you could keep it together and make a cool table piece!

Never worked with plum. How was it?

@Grizz01: I got a fair amount of plum from a friend who has a dead tree in his yard. It’s great to work with. A little sanding makes it very smooth. I’ve turned bowls, pens, bottle openers and also made a couple of small slabs for boxes. I’d say it’s like working with cherry.

I wish I had more — just one small piece left.
