Wedged mortise and tenon bed frame

First post on the site. Needed 2 new beds to replace old divan beds so this is the first of them. Wedged mortise and tenon bed frame with tapered legs made from unknown hardwood (originally 2 mantel boards that were stored in my late father in laws garage for around 30 years). Headboard and footboards are drawbored and all mortise and tenons are haunched. Slats are from broken pallets. Frame is finished with shellac and wax. Hope you like it and thanks for looking.

Very nice work with excellent joinery. The wood looks like mahogany to me.
