This is the second time I have cut this pattern… It is my favorite eagle pattern.. Sometime ago I gave my first cutting to a friend…. knowing that I would want to do it again…. I cut this in Monkey Wood… Never used it before… Pretty nice wood to work with. The Pattern is made from a painting by Carol Cavlaris, called “Spirit of the Wind. the pattern maker is Theodore ‘Buzz’ Buzzelli. Like I say,, my favorite eagle pattern..I would love to have on the same format with the American Bald Eagle… These are Tawny eagles, which inhabit mostly in the Africa. Looks to be very beautiful eagle.

That is a long term wall hanger, not something you’ll quickly replace. Nice work.

Any idea how many holes ya made? Some of the cuts look more hole sized, than cut sized, buncha them. WOW.

If I drill it…... I stick a blade through it and cut… some are cut un-round just to make sure people know it was… cut!

Sorry,,, I do not count cuts/holes.. so i really do not to know,,, to know, may depress me…

I think I said it wrong. I figured you did saw them, I was just saying so many of them are so tiny they don’t look like they would allow much sawing within their small size. There sure are a bunch of them.

Totally impressive, that took a while to cut! You are a scroll master.

I understood your comment,,, sorry is I came across as curt… Not my intention… I do drill all holes, but even the smallest I cut to shape… Nothing really shows up more in a picture like this than a perfectly round drilled hole… It just really stands out… and looks odd…. so even on the smallest I thread a blade and cut to non-perfectly round shape… some of the holes are drilled with a #70 bit.. pretty small.
