This box was made for a friend who is moving away.
This is another Wing Box. For more info and a short tutorial go here https://www.lumberjocks.com/projects/72296

Body-Maple
Top-Myrtlewood
Handles- Snakewood
Feet and accents-Wenge
Other accents- Paduak
Hinges- 1/8” brass pins
Finish- Deft semi-gloss spray lacquer
Lining- Black velvet

These are a fairly simple box to make without the base. Just go slow when fitting the lid.

Thank you for looking.
Andy

Somehow I missed these wing boxes. I see a lot of pinned hinge boxes, just not the dual door side opening variety. Pretty nice idea. I favorited all 3 of your entries about them, and no doubt will “borrow” your footprint come Christmas .

Now this one is my favorite, that Myrtle is incredible, and paired with the wood choices you made it’s a very nice looking box.

Thanks for sharing this wonderful box.
