Chevy Bison Semi Truck

This is the 1st of three trucks for a friend. At first he asked for two, but after seeing this truck, he asked for another. I decided to make something different ( the Bell 222) for the cargo that could also be played separately.

I used mounting blocks with dowels to keep the helicopter in place while in transit. At first I wanted to use a pin to lock the rotor while transporting, but my wife said that the pin would be lost quickly when play commences. Therefore she suggested a design change with an arm to lock the rotor.

As usual I drew the plan in Sketchup from a blue print supplied by prof Google.

Thanks for watching and as always your comments are welcome.

Now on to the next truck – Freightliner cab over semi.

Well George, That’s a first class complement when you’re asked for another truck…
BUT of course when it’s this good “why not!”

Great job!!!
It’s funny but I had never thought much about locking the load down but it needs to be done.
How many videos have we watched where the load didn’t get locked down right and off it went.
Details it’s all in the details. LOL

Outstanding work. Nice banding job on the doors. Lots of nice details.

This looks great. I haven’t done any trucks with trailers yet, but one may be in my future.
