Last week I have been bussy with a excavator on wheels. This chair made out of mainly cherry wood is part of it. In my opinion it is also a complete project, and that is why I post it. Soon I will also post the excavator it self. Despite the many small parts in this chair the style is htl. He was the one who started making a chair out of dowels.

There are free to download drawings of this chair on my website. Than you also get an idea how big/small it is (websie and chair :)).

Details that are very well sanded! I’m impressed!

Neat job. Hard to imagine how you can transforn a small part of a project into a bigger project.

Correction, sanding is your profession... I hear rumors that you may have other tools than just sanders somewhere hidden in your workshop.

If Holland was inland, you’d never be able to convince people you weren’t born on a beach.

Kinda reminds me of Captain Kirk’s chair on Star Trek.
Are you giving us a free plan for the chair then we’ll need to get the U.S.S. Enterprise you’ve come up with for the chair to fit in?
Just kidding but one of Toys and Joys new plans is the X Wing.
Would love to see what others can do with this chair.

Might make a fun wood working challenge LOL

Here was my take on Dutchy’s chair for the excavator.
Mines probable what a Ferengi would sit in, Quark for sure. lol
