Thought you might like to see the process of carving angels in one picture.
These are all at different stages of carving from start to finish.
From right to left –
4. outline of angel drawn on block
3. Used a V chisel to mark out lines to cut in and start the rounding process
2.The majority roughly carved
1. Finished. Light wash of paint and stain then sealed
