These are some cell phone stands I’ve been having fun with. I’ve used cherry, mahogany, white oak, and tigerwood for the figures. Each stands about 5” tall. The bases are walnut.

Thanks. A yoga instructor wanted a whole series of different yoga poses. The gymnast poses were two of six different poses I used. It’s been fun to find silhouettes that work and have some feel of motion to them. I’ve done a beekeeper to an excavator. The Goncalo Alves (tigerwood) while hard, cuts very well on the scrollsaw.

All I have to say is that is just cool. That’s it.

I forgot to mention that almost off of these were done with scraps. I found it a good way to get rid of those 6”-8” tails you hate to throw away.

The patterns simply came from clip art, so they are free to use. I do include ‘silhouette’ in the search term to eliminate a lot of stuff that’s not usable.
