Dog crate end table

I decided to turn the black wire dog crates into functional end tables. Yes, they’re big: 48×30x32, but now they look better and have added function. All common pine biscuit joined except for one part of the front side that has a few dowels in it. They slide right over the top of the existing dog crates. We waited an extra 4 weeks to allow the poly to fully cure to put it in place for the sake of Rocky’s nose. Rocky is blatantly modeling for more attention.

Nice work. Crates take up a lot of space so, good job making them double as furniture. My bet is your dog like the more cave-like feel of it too.

Thank you Swirt, Rodrick, & RyanGi. And yes, now that he’s used to it, he does prefer the cave-like feel. He sometimes refuses to come out. Now to build another one for our girl.
