I made this vessel for one of our friends who was having her 70th birthday.
The piece is made out of Maple and Walnut with turquoise inlays. There are 341 pieces in this wood turning and it’s roughly 8” by 10”. The finish consists of 8 coats of Polyurethane followed by Ack’s Abrasive Paste and finally a coat of microcrystalline wax.

Outstanding work. The turning and inlay. I just got some inlay material. I am going to do some practice boards this weekend. Looking forward to learning to use it.
