Very nice. Great looking. Like the finish. Good workmanship I am sure.

Thanks Ron,
Not a big fan of the color, but it looks pretty good in person. (my picture taking skills suck)

Sweet home office.
We seem to be getting a lot of these at work in recent months…

Lovely work, but yes your right about the color , obviously that wasn’t your decision.
Nice one.

Anthony

Great looking cabinets LeeRoy! A bit dark for me but I like the clean lines!

BTW, the color and style are typical “Chip and Joanna” from the HDTV show fixer upper.
It seems to be all the rage these days. Whites, greys, blues and blacks with lots of solid recessed panels and shiplap.

I don’t know if the style has an official name yet, but, “Chip and Joanna” works for me.

Thanks, Tony!!!

DS, I could see it if it were just painted black. In person, you can still see the grain. I’ve never seen a finish comparable on the C&J show.

Aside from that, it’s just typical (traditional if you’re asking me) shaker-style cabinetry.

Now I’m feeling bad that I’m doing C&J class cabinetry… :(

That’s as clean a look as I’ve ever seen. Looks professional to me (as a 20 year veteran in the cabinet industry).

@Leeroy, you made me laugh.

It seems some form of C&J is mostly my life for the last 4 years or so.
Some of it is in some really expensive homes too.

Our other big clientele is ultra contemporary, which is a little more fun. (Read challenging – expensive grain matched veneers, etc)

BTW, you did a very good job. It looks great!

Thanks underdog,

DS,
I’ve done a lot (mostly) contemporary in the last few years.
I will have to admit, a lot was C&J

The bummer is that most of the designers that use me aren’t very creative.
I only get to do what they sell their client.

It’s hard to steer your own boat when the designers are holding the steering wheel.

Have your say...
