This project really started with the wood. I saw the beautiful figure in the wood of the 4×4 and thought it would make a nice candle holder. So I set out to make it so.

Here’s this weeks video: Candle Holder

I’m no turner, tried it a few times, never really took to it.

But I can see that took some skill. I couldn’t do it. Really nice shape, it all looks very purportional and well ballanced to me. Will add a nice touch to any house…

Well done…

I’ve only been turning for about a year and a half, one project a week… every week. I’m no expert, but I am hooked and want to improve. Thank you for the kind words.

Sharp looking and the finish really makes it shine and stand out. Great job. Mel
