Every so often, we purchase several baby chicks. Our kids really enjoy watching them grow and develop throughout their growth phases. When the chicks were old enough to spend the night outside, I’ve built them a Mobile Triangle-Shaped Chicken Coop to live in. Once they are full-grown, they will be moved to a larger coop. I wanted to have a mobile chicken coop so that I could easily move it around the backyard.

Cool coop!
Reminds me of a co-op coop that an Austin community used to make for use in their organic garden (mobility not the design). They called it a “ChickenTractor”. It was easily moved around the garden and set over plants. The chickens scratched and fertilized the soil and ate the bugs on the plants. The “Chicken Tractor” was then moved to the next section of the garden. Your design is much cooler.

I’ve thought about making one and getting some chickens for the eggs but my garden has raised beds and they are all different sizes.

Looks like a good idea. Interesting . . .
