My first chair. Attended a week long class at William Ng’s School of Fine Woodworking. He had all the special jigs and tools necessary to craft this thing. Plus he is a top notch woodworker and teacher. Class of six and we all went home with a bag of pieces of Sepele with a lots more work to do in order to finish the project. Most time consuming was making and installing 96 different ebony plugs.

One of my favorite chairs of all time. Plus William Ng is a G&G master craftsman. I’m not sure who is more jealous, Pottz or me. Awesome work!!!

as far as g&g darrel peart is a master at doing that style.if your ever lucky enough too visit the gamble house in pasadena and want the ultimate woodworker tour you need too do the (details and joinery tour) led by jim ipekjian who has recreated furniture for homes like the blacker house.it’s 3 hours led by someone that knows the style and techniques used to create all the furniture in these magnificent homes,or shall i say works of art.

That is one badazz chair you’ve made. Love that. William Ng for a week, and went home with the makings of that, win win.
