This tractor is another Toys and Joys plan. This is made of northern white hard maple. The front wheels are purchased along with misc dowels that are then fabricated for various parts. I gifted this to my brother in law. His father had recently passed away and they still have a John Deere B in their fleet of working tractors. I saw it fitting that he should have one. I do make all of the treaded tires on my models. Toys and Joys gives good guidance on making them.

Nice work !!

Don’t be hitting too may pot holes with the trailer while the back wheels are sitting on the mudguards!

Great detail, I like these models, I don’t call them toys because there is too much work put into them. Nice job!

Both of these tractors were made in 2020 during the early part of the pandemic. I work in a cabinet shop at a medical facility and during the pandemic we were required to cut staff 50%. We also had numerous Covid related projects that needed doing. Because of all the unknowns and being short staffed, while still needing to produce, this was a stressful time at my workplace. I worked on these tractors in the evening and on weekends. It was a good stress reliever for me.

Love it, how did you make the back wheels?
