Created this record cabinet out of sapele wood for a client. Not a bad wood to work with. Finished with 3 coats of tried and true finish original.

Looks good. What the heck is a record?

It’s something all the cool kids have now I guess. Believe it or not went into a book store and they had a very large record section….I just don’t remember them costing $35-$45 way back then!

Very nice especially the base leg setup. Grain pattern on top is lkiller and makes the piece

Yeah the top wasn’t easy. Had a twist in one board, wasted more wood than planned but was able to use the cutoffs for other projects.
