Made of cedar. The design is not exact but the idea was borrowed heavily from Darrell Peart. You can tell I had too much time on my hands this past winter. The raised bed boxes were all joined with big dovetails.

The gate is cool but I wish you’d posted more pictures of the garden beds cause those look neat

For those who’ve asked for more garden photos, I’ve added some.

As for the fence, I like that the wire critter fence is hardly visible and the gate looks like it’s alone without a fence attached. As pottz said, it’s a bit whimsical. The gate sitting by itself is intended to add to that.

For those interested in the vegetable gardening part of it, we used the square foot method of soil and planting. It is extremely rich soil that should never need fertilizer and can be closely planted for high yields.

That is the coolest gate I’ve ever seen…so great…very interesting and beautiful…
