YES!

What is in the box?

It’s an old wine bottle box from an old work colleague that I’ve repaired for a specific and special use!

A CROWE CREATIONS hot stamp logo.

For years I’ve signed and dated my toys ACC but never had my own logo.

A fellow woodworker who did the graphic artwork for me, a combination of Handy and Crow Cams.

CNC Creations did the stamp for me which has turned out awesome, if I do say myself.

This was my first attempt at hot stamping my new logo on the repaired wine box.

It takes 15 minutes to heat up with the 175 watt electric iron and I’ve worked out now, only 3 seconds to make the stamp.

Very nice, Peter! I’ve got a branding iron too, but it takes so long to heat up that I almost never use it, which means it’s always at the bottom of some pile of stuff on the workbench.

Sweet. A little Ford oval too. Everything you dreamed about all in one stamp.

Here’s an idea for those of you who don’t like the branding iron. I too have one still in the box, seldom used. A laser engraver is only like $50 – $75 more than a branding iron. You can change your logo anytime you want, add dates, symbols, etc. And you can make a LOT of things with it. They are super easy to use and you don’t have to worry about getting the temp correct, even pressure, or burning down the shop when you leave it plugged in and turned on.

Nice stamp….

I have on that is heated with a torch… It takes a while to get the right temperature and some trial and error… So, I finally heated it up and burned the stamp many time in some veneer… Now I can cut off one when I need it and glue it to the project… Not quite as nice but it works.
