Old tea box made from hardwood maple flooring .
Made for a very deserving friend as a thank you gift .
Router carved texture and sprayed with colored paint and sanded when dry using a soft sanding pad .

What a nice gift Kiefer! I love the dark color with the red inside. Very nice looking box! For me it reminds me of hammered copper. You should do a video of how it’s done! I would love to watch you do your magic!

Yep, easily mistaken for old copper with those exposed high spots, nice one!

Yes it does look like old copper but I will experiment a but more with the colors .
