Hope this helps someone… there are much nicer versions. The board perpendicular to the board the caster wheels are on is simply to keep the thing on it’s wheels. Without it just falls over and is useless.
I lift one edge onto this dolly and lift the other side to get my sheet material out so I can lift it to the saw.
My setup is currently a wreck and this is a lifesaver.

Remember when ya just grabbed it up, and started walking?

Any and all cheats to move those unwieldy sheet goods from A to B is a good thing, nice job.

If you edit your pics and then resave the pics will orient correctly here.

Handy to have a dolly.

Tip:
Cover with carpet scrap to protect edge of goods and to give a better no-slip grip vs plain wood.

Thanks for carpet tip.
The project was so simple the terrible pictures I hope got the point across. Mine works… I just had to do something and this was quick.
My sheets are under garage door so ultimate pain in the ass until I made dolly.

I currently use a Gator Lift plywood carrier to move sheets around. But as I get older, your simple yet effective design may be right up my alley. One wrong bump on the Gator Lift and the sheet slips.

Have your say...
