Impressive Aaron!

Most people would have skipped over that root, even for firewood. I’m surprised at how the inside was still so “fresh”.

Nice find, nicer flip it.

I agree with Bruce, probably everyone can remember walking past a root, or branch on the ground, ready to carry, yet we walked by. Sometimes I’m surprised by my visions of what it could be, but most of the time I feel like I’m blind. Glad to see you saw this.

Great idea and execution. I have similar ideas each time I drive down a heavily tree lined street in my neighborhood. While stopped at the the lights I think to myself, “that tree would make a great live edge table”. I’m sure the city would frown upon such things, but a guy can dream.
