Hello folks,
I was looking for a simple stool to make for my shop but to look pretty too, I made this stool from walnut and cherry, it is a simple project but will test your sanding skills :)

Here is a link for this build if you wish to see more details:

Nice stool, much too pretty for the shop. Paint, glue, errand dropped chisel. That would happen in my shop anyway. Great workmanship.

Thanks Jim, you are right I was struggling from standing for hours without a stool to rest on and especially when doing hand works on my bench.

:) Thank you, Ron, when I decided to make something I always want it to be pretty and inspiring to keep me going.
Maybe its a bit over kill but I will take good care for it :)

I agree nice enough for anyone’s house!
My shop furniture has to be considered somewhat expendable—- not—IF something is going to happen to it but; WHEN!

Very nicely done. I really like your build video as well. No background music until it was time for the final reveal. For the most part it was just a man working with tools to build something. Very well done and oddly soothing. Keep up the good work!

That is a wonderful stool. Since you spend so much time in your shop, you deserve a really fine stool.
