TV Riser

My pastor asked me to make him a riser for his TV at home. I used 3/4 inch Red Oak Plywood banded with 1 inch Red Oak boards cut 1 inch wide using a combo ‘V’ and tongue and grove joint. I attached the legs using brass inserts and hangar bolts. This was my first project and I made some sanding mistakes. Found a lot of things that DON’T work to fix those such as Epoxy putty (won’t take stain), water based wood filler and furniture markers and eventually was able to make it presentable thanks to the pastor being a very forgiving man!
